That was then, this is now

Here's the blog entry version of a "picture book".  Basically, just a post of some comparison pics -- that "thousand words" thing and all :)

For Halloween of 2010, we went to a costume party, and then recreated our looks (me with a different top) to give out candy on the actual day (w/ local bro & SIL)

2012

In case you can't tell, I'm trying to hide behind the hubs in that pic from 2010. Not very successful. And geez, baby got back!

Pretty happy with my DIY costume this year - this is a huge tunic top I haven't ever been able to button, and a pair of leggings I would never have gone out in in public a year ago!

Election Day, 20
And here I am performing my civic duty:

Election Day, 2008

Oh, and this year?  I walked to and from my polling place :)

    1. Thanks, friend! It's funny how looking at that election day pic from 2008, it looks like I have food in my cheeks! I really didn't think I looked like that ... or I wasn't willing to admit I did :) Either way, I *feel* so much better now!

    2. I have a favor to ask you. Would you try to look at my blog? I have been overwhelmingly inundated with spam comments in the past few weeks, and it was getting worse every day it seemed, so I made the blog available to other blog writers only. Now, another Blogger/Blogspot blogger has told me that she can't see it. I want to know if others are affected, too. Thank you.

    3. I'm glad you said something! I tried the other day and it told me I didn't have permission to view it. I'm on my phone now so I'll try again.

    5. Thank you, Ant. I've changed the settings again, and added word verification. I hope that's solved my problem!

  2. You know, I never thought of you as being overweight. I've always adored you and thought you were gorgeous. I loved you even before we met. However, and you knew there was going to be a however, I look at these new pictures of you and think you look even more gorgeous than when I first met you. You look simply stunning, even when dressed as a pirate/rocker. I am so proud of you...and so glad you are healthier. (Because a healthier you means I get to have you around longer.)
